Ashley reads Spot!

Lion King

On Saturday Jason, Addison and I had the privileged of seeing The Lion King on Broadway. It was AMAZING to say the least! Addison was glued to the stage the entire show! And really Jason and I were too. The costumes were so beautiful. Thanks to Aunt Lynn for our awesome seats!

Random Summer Fun Pictures

Father's Day!

A little girl needs Daddy
For many, many things:
Like holding her high off the ground
Where the sunlight sings!
Like being the deep music
That tells her all is right
When she awakens frantic with
The terrors of the night.

Like being the great mountain
That rises in her heart
And shows her how she might get home
When all else falls apart.

Like giving her the love
That is her sea and air,
So diving deep or soaring high
She'll always find him there.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!
We love you!

St. Thomas, St. John and British Virgin Islands

The beginning of June, Jason and I took a vacation to the Virgin Islands. It was the most beautiful place we have ever visited and cannot wait to go back! Here are just a few pictures from our trip.

ELA Graduation

On May 25, 2012 Addison graduated from the Early Learning Academy. It was a bitter sweet day to say the least! She has been going there since she was three and the ELA teachers and staff are family to us. Luckily, Ashley has two more years there so we will still get to see those awesome teachers!

After weeks of preparation Addison's class had an actual graduation ceremony complete with caps and gowns. My peanut did really well in practice but when it came to the actual ceremony and singing in front of the crowd...STAGE FRIGHT!! I have always known she has had this ever since we tried gymnastics but I had no idea it was this bad. She would not look up or make eye contact with anyone. It really was a little sad. Towards the end she started to come out of her shyness and sing a little.

We are really proud of our Peanut and cannot wait for her to start Kindergarten!!
