Merry Christmas from the Olivers!

Christmas with Mimi & Popi

Last night we had Christmas with Mimi, Popi, Aunt Taylor and Granddad! We had a fabulous time together as a family, going to dinner and exchanging gifts. Addison and Ashley both got desks for their room!  Addison has already spent hours at her desk creating all sorts of artwork. She also got clip-on earrings, jewelry and jewelry box!! Oh-la-la!! Ashley loves her light-up skechers shoes and her baby doll that she has been carrying around all morning. What a great Christmas! We love you very much!

Daddy-Daughter Project

Today Jason decided to do a craft project with Addison since she was a little stir crazy around the house. He took her to the store and they picked out a bird house to make! She loved building the house with her Daddy and had even more fun painting it. What a great Saturday afternoon project together!

Santa's Wonderland

Wednesday evening we went out to College Station, TX to Santa's Wonderland with The Evans. It was a crazy last minute idea that Holly and I had and thought we would avoid the crowds on a school night. It was super cold outside that night 34 degrees, perfect Christmas lights weather! Once we were there all of the girls loaded up in the back of Ryan's truck with blankets so we could enjoy the lights. It was so much fun! We sang Christmas carols and really enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful lights. After we drove through the lights we went inside to Santa's Town.We saw animals at the petting zoo including reindeer and sang more Christmas carols by the campfire.

We also had a chance to visit Santa! Ashley ran to him, literally jumped into his lap and gave him the biggest hug! It was the cutest thing. She wants a baby doll. Addison was shy as always but did talk to him and asked for a Barbie doll. Overall we had an awesome time and could not stay too late due to school the next day and the long drive home we had. It was well worth the drive out there, the girls had so much fun and Addison even told me, "she loved singing with me at the fire!" Great Christmas memories!

Forgot my hat! brrrrrr!
