Storybook Parade at ELA

Each year the ELA has a Storybook parade throughout the high school. The high school students hand out books and the parade ends in the library with the kids listening to Halloween stories. This year Addison was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and Ashley was the Witch. They were so cute and Ashley even had the witch laugh down!

Fall Festival

It's been hectic around here these past weeks so I am finally going to try & get caught up on October, here we go!

This year my school had a fall festival. The girls had so much fun on the moon walk, riding the train and playing all of the carnival games.

Texas Music Throwndown

Jason and some good friends are organizing this benefit concert again his year. Hope to see you Saturday!

It is our honor to present to you the opportunity to assist our wounded military veterans. This event will be held at the Town Green Park in The Woodlands, Texas on October 1, 2011. First and foremost, the Texas Music Throwdown (TMT) benefit concert is to honor our wounded military veterans and will donate 100% of the proceeds to our wounded veterans at Heroes on the Water (HOW) www.heroesonthewater.org . Heroes on the water was founded by Jim Dolan, a former pilot in the United States Air Force, in 2007. In less than three years, HOW has grown to be a nationally recognized non-profit group that gets our wounded military vets out and about after they return home from their military assignments. Creating smiles, working with hospitals and getting our wounded veterans out in nature are HOW’s philosophy. Without these courageous veterans we may not enjoy the freedoms we have today, and it is our time to give back and say thanks. We currently have three incredible Texas artists that have committed to entertain us: Brandon Rhyder, The Scooter Brown Band, Cody Johnson Band and are working to solidify two more artist including a headliner! Tickets will be just $5 and we encourage a family atmosphere..... BRING THE KIDS! :)
