ELA Graduation

On May 25, 2012 Addison graduated from the Early Learning Academy. It was a bitter sweet day to say the least! She has been going there since she was three and the ELA teachers and staff are family to us. Luckily, Ashley has two more years there so we will still get to see those awesome teachers!

After weeks of preparation Addison's class had an actual graduation ceremony complete with caps and gowns. My peanut did really well in practice but when it came to the actual ceremony and singing in front of the crowd...STAGE FRIGHT!! I have always known she has had this ever since we tried gymnastics but I had no idea it was this bad. She would not look up or make eye contact with anyone. It really was a little sad. Towards the end she started to come out of her shyness and sing a little.

We are really proud of our Peanut and cannot wait for her to start Kindergarten!!

Rainy time catch up!

To say it's been BUSY is an understatement in the Oliver household and I am way behind on the blog so here goes...

Rangers Game

Last night we went the Rangers & Astros game at Minute Maid park. Jason was sweet and got me tickets for Mother's day. The girls were so excited about going mainly because Jason and I were excited about going. Although Addison really did get into the game for a little while. Hopefully we have created a little baseball fan!
The Rangers lost the game which stinks but between the hot dogs, ice cream, peanuts, cotton candy, snow cones...well you get the point...We had a really great time as a family! Great memories I wish cherish :)

Wordless Wednesday

Mother's Day

I had such a wonderful Mother's day. Jason and the girls spoiled me so well that day! I was awakened to three bags from Brighton :) Fun! Fun! They gave me a beautiful matching necklace, bracelet & earrings. The girls also made me some really cute artwork as well! Then since I am not a breakfast eater we went to brunch at La Lupita a traditional Mexican restaurant I have been wanting to try. The food was wonderful and the margaritas were super yummy! After lunch we went to Frost for some cupcakes! Overall it was a fabulous day and I am so thankfully to be a Mommy and have my two precious girls!

Happy Birthday Mimi!

I am so thankful that we got to celebrate Mimi's birthday with her last weekend! We had a wonderful day visiting with all the family that came. We even got a picture of 4 generations together! Happy Birthday Mimi! We love you!
