On Friday the girls participated in the Storybook Parade at their school (Early Learning Academy). The ELA is a part of Wunsche High School in Spring. Both girls got to wear the costumes to school and walk in a parade throughout most of the high school. As the girls "trick or treated" throughout the school, the high school students who take classes and participate in the ELA passed out books to all of the kids. It was so cute and so much fun! At the end of the parade Ashley's class had special book reading time with the parents and kids. Addison's class went to the library for a very special reading of "The Runaway Pumpkin"! It was a great parade and Addison was so proud that she got to walk in a big parade.

Spider Cookies
We have been very crafty this week making lots of Halloween goodies. Tonight we made spider cookies from Oreos, pretzel sticks and icing. Once again Addison loved making the craft and Ashley loved eating the craft!

G is for Ghost
Addison has "Show and Tell" every Friday at school for the letter of the week they are studying. I must say the competition has been fierce for bringing the coolest show and tell item. This week she is learning all about the letter G and I think we came up with a great item(s) especially since Halloween is Sunday.
G is for Ghost!!
We took lollipops, cut up white trash bags, pipe cleaners and wiggly eyes to make our ghosts for everyone in the class. Addison loved making the craft and Ashley loved eating the lollipops!
